Greetings! I’m Nina – the writer of this, my first author website! Quite exciting for me!
I’ve been cultivating quite a few stories in the hopes of publishing and have finally chosen one for my debut! It’s a sassy novel about bullying, revenge and romance. The heroine is a little broken but determined and her adversary turned love interest is a little shaky but strong. I’m so looking forward to sharing it with the world, but I’ve got a bit more to do before it can be released – editing, cover design and formatting (no biggie – ugh).
So, in the meantime, I thought I would introduce myself…
I live in the Phoenix Metro area, with my husband and two dogs. I love to read, and I do mean LOVE. In addition to the much beloved standards – Anne of Green Gables and Little House on the Prairie, I got my feet wet reading ‘smutty’ romance novels, (I’m pretty sure my Gram was scandalized the first time she saw me reading a romance novel complete with half naked man on the cover) of which I still pull out my ‘faves’ from time to time when I need a little comfort reading.
I’ve definitely honed my palate since those long-ago days and can now be found reading a wide variety of genres – from a good zombie apocalypse scenario to a jaw clenching serial killer suspense. I love them all. In fact, it’s not unusual to find a good zombie apocalypse book piled on top of a history book about Henry VIII on my nightstand.
I’m a mush ball when it comes to good movies – I cry every time I watch Steel Magnolias. I can also be found watching my all-time favorite movie ‘Love Actually’ every year at Christmas time. I’m a junkie for true crime shows and have my televisions tuned to ‘Investigation Discovery’ almost 24-7.
I’m a new writer with lots of stories to share! I cross genres, because I can’t help myself – I love them all – but I always hope to embody a strong female heroine who may be a little broken but always beautiful!
